ABC Online:20yo LNP candidate woos seniors

ABC Online website article The 20-year-old LNP candidate for the south-east Queensland seat of Longman has addressed a seniors’ forum on Bribie Island, south of the Sunshine Coast. If Wyatt Roy wins the seat of Longman, he will become Australia’s youngest federal MP. More than 150 National Seniors Australia members gathered at the Bribie RSL this morning to quiz Mr Roy, along with the incumbent ALP Member John Sullivan and the Greens’ candidate Rod Blair. They covered issues from health to recreational fishing zones. Despite the age gap, Mr Roy was generally well received. The ALP holds the seat of Longman by a margin of 1.9 per cent.
