JESSICA van VONDEREN: The poll date might not have been set but campaigning ahead of the Federal election has begun and Queensland’s a key battleground. Last week, the Prime Minister travelled to Caboolture to announce an affordable housing project. On the other side of politics, Tony Abbott has nominated the Queensland electorates he’ll be targeting. And the recent redistribution of seats will make things even more interesting particularly in the hotly contested electorates of Longman and Flynn where the two major parties have seen a reversal of fortunes.
