The Longman Awards recognise outstanding community achievements of individuals, community groups and small businesses in the Longman electorate.

In 2011 there were 56 finalists for the Longman Awards. All of these finalists were individually recognised, and 7 category winners were chosen, including Community Group Achievement Winner, House of Happiness and Volunteer Work joint winners Michelle Knight and Betty Lynford.

In 2012 I have added the category of small business achievement, to recognise those businesses who give back to the community in a positive way.

I need your help to nominate the people, community groups and small businesses who truly deserved to be recognised for the good work they do, that makes our community a great place to live.
